I was quite scared of vacuum cleaners when I was younger, especially when my dad would pretend to make it eat his sock. I would hide [in plain sight] on the big blue snuggle chair in the living room. I still to this day cannot stand the noise. :pale:
^Me, too. Mew.

I love the famous footage of the cat who rides the Roomba. (Warning, vacuum noise.)

I've bever been scared of them, but I've always found them painfully loud. As a kid, I would have terrible meltdowns when my mom used the vacuum.

Today, if I don't wear earplugs when I vacuum, I still get very upset very quickly because of the noise. (I actually prefer to just not use them, if possible -- vacuums are one of the main reasons I don't like carpets as flooring.)

Yeah I've hoped they're not stressed -- I assume they're relaxed around the Roomba since neither the cat or the duck are heading for the hills.

Cat: "I was promised a cut of the YouTube earnings if I did this....I'm starting to think she lied."

Duck: "I'm imprinted on this darn Roomba and now I think it's my mom!"

Dog: "duhhh...... i'm hungry!"
in any case, that youtube looks like the video equivalent of a joke about how "there was this cat and a duck and a dog, and....."

^^ :) I wonder how they trained the cat to both wear the costume AND ride the Roomba?

Well there might be more to that than meets the eye. The duck might have forced the cat with "truth or dare."

The duck is all "I'll tell our humans it was you who scared the hamster to death that day in his walking ball!"

the humans would see the duck furiously quacking and say "ah, isn't that cute?" :)

since cats don't smile and laugh, I guess one has to take their joy on faith.
