I liked summer when I was in school because I was out of school for half of it. Otherwise I kind of hated summer when I lived with my parents because of the heat & humidity which is bad for half the year in Louisiana & I'm sensitive to bright light & feel better when I get less sunlight if everything else is the same. I don't like winter now that I live in Vermont because it's alot colder & has a snow & ice; Louisiana hasn't gotten snow in many years.

I don't like it when it's too hot and sunny and sticky. Summer here is pretty mild usually though. It's supposed to only reach 72 F today. Where I used to live it's supposed to reach 112 F today. Just a slight difference lol.

I start out loving summer to begin with and than the forest fires start and spread, I feel bad for the people who lost their pets and their homes, the temperature gets to hot, the high school and college kids cause chaos around my apartment complex and make ignorant noises. I'm more of a winter and Christmas person. I'll take 100 Christmases over 1 summertime any year. This summer is also the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love. The Summer of Bleach. The stoners come out of the woodwork every 25 years to celebrate it.

I like summers when I was in school. I hate summers now, I always wish I had a summer house somewhere that it is cool. I have psoriasis & I'm very sensitive to the heat. Does the sun gives you vitamin D?

I hear sunlight is the best way to get vitamin D. There's other ways to get D thou including supplements.

I used to need sunlight and heat for stimulation... now I prefer it dark, wet and cool (but not cold)... it's probably my neurology's evolution from having ancestors coming from northern Europe... I LOVE wind and storms and rain and floods and any disasters, but that part is probably my undiagnosed ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorder (whcih however has gotten better with age).

Sunlight is not a opinion for me, my stomach is sensitive to the sun & I can itchy, sun is VERY BAD for my psoriasis. I'm getting calcium with vitamin D at Walmart, maybe multiple vitamins, I use to take One A Day Woman.

I hate summer too and actually prefer winter when it's cold.

Also in winter I can hide out more, especially in a heavily forested area.

Also in cold weather there's many things you can do to stay warm while in the scorching summer heat there's not so many things you can do to remain cool and hydrated.

From my own experiences, I feel it is unnecessary to use the word 'hate' and 'summer' within the same statement.

A good description might be 'the summertime blues' with the Autism Spectrum presenting those challegnes to participate in activities which might curb...... 'the summertime blues.'

I don't like the heat, but most racing occurs spring - fall.

I hate summer.

Actually I hate anything from 21 December to 21 June, when the days are longest.
Summer gets darker every night, so that's one good thing.
Perhaps the only good thing.

I hate it for all other reasons.
I freeze in my house (AC), and I hate the skimpy clothes you need to wear outside.
I hate the smell of people barbecuing and the noise of more people being around.
I hate the fake happiness from weather reporters about how great it is.
I hate bright sunshine because of photophobia.

I save on electricity by not running the AC and wearing skimpy clothes all the time during the summer.
I'm outside doing stuff so I'm not home running the electric bill.
My electric bill averaged $56 a month this past summer.

It took all summer but I got a nice light tan that was pretty even. I wore sunscreen to help even it out.

Our electric bill is over a hundred more than that during the summer which is more than 2wice what we pay in winter. We live on the top floor of a three floor apartment building & heat is included for free but they don't provide air-conditioning. We had to buy our own ACs & we pay the electricicity to run them. Our living-room opens into our kitchen. We hung a curtain in front our hall to try & stop the living-room air-conditionng from escaping down there. When the temp is in the 90s, our living-room AC can barely keep the temp below 80 even thou we run it nonstop for days. I always had a low tolerance to heat & humidity. I feel alot hotter when I'm physically active & I get worn out & out of breath very easily & sweat easily; I think it might be a medical issue besides me just being very out of shape but IDK what. Heat can also agrevate my skin eczema. I do hate being very cold too thou & heating also agrevates my skin eczema.
