I've been observing the weather in many places over the years---including in the UK.
Over the past 10 years:
1. The winters seem to be slightly colder than the previous 10 years (2007-2017), with a bit more snow (but very little snow over the past couple of years, especially in the London area).
2. The summers have become much warmer over the same 2007-2017 period, with less rain. Many more over 25 Celsius maximums in London from 2007-2017 than from 1997-2007.
We are undergoing global WARMING.
I remember, in the 1970s, when the UK seemed perpetually cloudy in July, with temperatures frequently below 20 Celsius for a maximum temperature.
