I dont know why but people on here often spell Santa Claus like "Santa Clause."

My given name has been misspelled numerous ways. I think I should collect the misspellings. I could achieve a dubious distinction award in the Guinness Book of World Records.

My last name is misspelled and mispronouced all the time. My last name is Lah. People pronouce it as lay sometimes (lay as in LAY-er)

It's also spelled incorrectly as Lau, Law, La, etc.

And my first name, Erich, is sometimes misspelled as Eric, Erik, Erick, etc

And sometimes mispronounced as Erich (the ch sound makes it the incorrect pronounciation)

Probably not a good idea to post my name on WP. But people would probably find out sooner or later eh?

Summing up, it is derived from the name of Professor Bernard Quatermass, a science-fiction character who appeared in a trilogy of serials some time before Doctor Who.....
