Last week my mom's cat was meowing really loud and she wanted to show me something so I went outside to see her and she had a rat in her mouth, and she was very proud of herself for catching it and she wanted to show me how good she is, and I pet her because she's very clever to show me the dead rat.

I love rats. My mom won't let me keep them anymore because she thinks of them as pests, but I still get to see them in school.

Rats can hurt cats pretty badly during fights if the rat is big enough.
