The last two weeks have been pretty entertaining for me, also. I just can't seem to shake this seam-ripping flatulence!

Let's reflect on that together.

Alright. I'm thinking my diet is a little too high in fiber. Perhaps consuming a small piece of whicker furniture per week is a bad idea.

"Sometimes you have to get on the wrong train to end up at the right place" - wonderful line from the wonderful film "The Lunch Box".

^ I'm tempted to ask you to remove my posts from this thread because I feel like a bit of a dickhead now, but I will leave them stand because everyone should be able to see what a dickhead I am.

My apologies to the OP.

I look at your posts through extremely expensive eye glasses that have every possible treatment to ensure maximum perception, and your posts gleam with a wry perception :) You have many fans here.

I see no problems with Raleigh's post, either.

You’re missing the entire point of this thread as stated in the OP.

6 years ago my symptoms were off the charts and my life was HORRIFIC. Now? After 5+ years of treating and controlling my symptoms, not so much. Everything has changed for the better and I live a significantly more socially successful life than I ever did before. *That* is my point. All of these things were IMPOSSIBLE 6 years ago, and now they’re simply.. baseline. This is the life I live now.

And I’ve never ever said “I’m having fun and you’re not, nanananaa.” I’ve said “I’m living a better life now & this is how.” I’ve been incredibly transparent about the process I’ve followed to go from who I was to who I am. There are no secrets to my relative success.

I didn’t notice your posts were off topic for this thread. I thought you were just angry with me over what I’d posted. What thread did you think you were posting to?

This thread reminds me about talking to my older brother about money/purchases sometimes. Between him and his fiancee and their various sources of income they make approximately 4-5x my income. Granted, they have 7 people and some dogs in their household.. but still, they have more disposable income & credit and live a life of more conveniences etc. He just doesn't Get that my income is $x and after car/rent/food I'm pretty tapped out, and I have some big bills to pay soon. His baseline income, & therefore quality of life, is simply far higher than mine. So we don't see eye to eye things sometimes.. much like in this thread, only quantifying & measuring socializing vs. income.

Hardly surprising, since I didn't read it before commenting.
Thought I was in an entirely different thread - nvm - we'll put it down to small screen myopia.
If I had read your original post I would have responded a bit differently.
Luckily, most of your threads are in a similar vein, so no biggie, I guess. :|
