Its easier to tear the individual squares off when its over the front.

Step 1: Ignite toilet paper.
Step 2: Replace with newspaper.
Bonus: Use images of politicians you personally dislike, and get them nice and dirty.

Me too. I'm a contrarian through and through.

When I first saw the subject line, I thought we were going to be graced with an appearance by Dan Savage.

Imagine my disappointment...

I prefer it to roll at the front it seems wrong to me having it at the back.

Mine just stands on end on the side of the bath.

Martha Steward said on TV that the correct way is the end of the roll to be in the back. I like the end of the roll to be in the front. It is easier to tear.

My cats were champion toilet paper shredders, especially my Siamese. They loved it!

The politically correct term is bath tissue.

Um, no way. First, the fire alarm would go off. Second, I don't like newspaper ink on my butt!

I like the over-the-top, up-front way of hanging it. Much easier to grab, it is right there. No need to fumble underneath. No one else here to disagree with me, nor any pets.

I like it to hang in front. The less someone is touching what I will use the happier I am.
I try to not use toilet paper that is handled by too many people. I'm hoping the custodian has gloves on but that's probably asking way too much. I could go on but I think I already sound pretty germ phobic.

Definitely the front. More accessible, and it keeps the loose end away from condensation on the wall if the bathroom gets steamed up.

Bonus factoid: Loo roll has been around since the 1880's, but it took until the 1930's before the first rolls came out that could be advertised as "splinter free"! 8O
