I occasionally hit “report” by accident when I’m on my phone or iPad. The first time, I was very relieved to see the form come up after because I knew that meant I hadn’t accidentally reported anyone, I just hit “back” and all was well.

I never have hit the report button here, but it's good to know you have to do more than accidentally bump the thing to report someone. im pretty good about pushing the wrong buttons or whatever.

Reading this thread has sort of made me want to report myself though just so when they ask why I can do something like type out song lyrics as a reason, maybe Criminal by Fiona Apple or something. Folsom Prison Blues could be fun. Endless possibilities, really. I need to get off this idea now before I do it...

I reported a post by mistake (albeit not accident). Just after I wrote my reason and submitted, I realized my misinterpretation and contacted a Moderator who kindly closed the erroneous report. So one can survive that too.

If you had managed to submit your report, I wonder how the Moderator would have handled it? "Dear Mtn Goat, would you please describe again your offense to "Count by Fives"?

I just clicked the report button and it took me to a forum to fill out and a box to type in. I clicked the back button so it didn't go through.
