I can cook better fried chicken, but it's a whole lot easier to buy it from KFC.

I really like McDonalds too. I used to eat there a lot when I worked at WalMart. I worked overnight. It's a super WalMart so it's open 24 hours & we could leave for our lunch breaks & there was a McDonalds where the drive-through was open all night a couple parking lots away that you could just drive through.

I only had KFC 1ce & it was OK. The reviews for that specific one aren't that good & say other KFCs are better. It may also be that I'm used to eating Popeyes. My parents live about an hour away from New Orleans & I think Popeyes originated around there. There are many Popeyes in Louisiana & very few KFCs I guess cuz they don't wanna compete. There's also some Church's around but I never been. I live in Vermont now & the only major chain chicken place around is KFC.

Here in Australia, the quality has gone downhill bigtime.
It used to be my favourite food.
Hasn't been the case for many years now.

Same here. If I can ever make cole slaw better than theirs, I'll stop going to KFC altogether!

it was said that back in the old days when col. sanders was still running things, he'd do a QC at select local KFC outlets and sample the wares himself, and if he didn't like something, he'd take his cane to the manager.

No. I cook it in a more traditional southern way.

This is making me hungry for fried chicken. I might cook some tonight. I ought to get about four meals from it pretty easily.

Just to tell a story, my mother and I ate at the local KFC a few weeks ago, and my mother was standing in front of the counter waiting for our order while I was sitting at the table, so I didn't know what was going on until she came to the table with our food and told me. Someone was asking for fish and was bewildered that KFC didn't have any. Seriously, do they or have they ever sold fish? And it's a weird thing to ask for in a restaurant where everything is chicken, anyway.

I miss their old coleslaw. I've never been a fan of coleslaw except for that neon green stuff they used to sell. Now they've changed it so that it's more like home-made coleslaw and I hate it. I usually have them give me a small gravy instead of the slaw. Their fries are much better than they were when I was a kid, though. If only they could find a way to pack them when you order take-out so that they don't get soggy and limp by the time you get them home. It's always the same flimsy cardboard box with only a few holes for the steam to escape, but they get soggy anyway.

Last time I went to get takeaway from them I got home to find they'd put the wrong stuff in the bag. I remember having KFC as a teenager/young adult . It was ok .

I had KFC a few days ago, i like their biscuits, coleslaw & mashed potatoes, there was no butter for my biscuit. My mom & me always had KFC, I love my memories of her, we always had McDonald’s too, great old times. I think they put too much pepper in the coleslaw.
