No, I do not think her behavior was "uncalled for"; nor do I think her behavior was particularly appropriate. It's all about her, her motivations, and how she interpreted the situation; that's the best way to judge her behavior, and I can't do that because I wasn't there and am not privy to the subtler aspects of the interaction.

Especially for someone on the autistic spectrum.
A forum,
Such as this,
Is perfect, imo.

I was at the bar once and a group of people who I didn’t know very well offered me a pint of beer. I said to them “you didn’t spike it did you?”. The girl who was in the group started shouting at me saying “why would we spike it????”.

Do you think her shouting at me was a bit rude? Before the incident I was starring at the women so that might have made her dislike me.

Generally, you shouldn't accept drinks from people you don't know, even if someone offers you a drink. I would strongly advice you not to. Politely just say no and of course, that comment was unnecessary.

This. Also, if someone did spike your drink, why would they admit it? If in doubt, just don't drink it.

Asking if it was spiked was a definite mistake, period.
Had you said that, and *then* drank it,
It would have been a very good joke,
To break the ice.
Not that I recommend doing it if they are strangers.
If you had a friend with you,
It might be different.

I can understand why the NT went ape-shite.
Maybe she was semi-drunk. <shrug>

And if it was a genuine kind offer,
You can see why some people would have reacted badly.

I am a *very* slow thinker, in real life,
And new situations often makes me clumsy.

But this is part of being autistic. <shrug>

All I can advise is to learn from the experience and have a ready reply if something like that happens again.

Men have been known to put date rape drugs in women's drinks but nobody thinks women would eve think of drugging a man's drink.
