Thanks everybody.

In the past couple of days, my mother took a turn for the worst. Her broken arm is not only not healing, but it is disintegrating.

She was admitted to the hospital, but, so far, all the doctors have said they've never seen anything like it. I'm sorry if I'm not very active, but I'm tired and I'm terrified. I don't have the emotional strength to come here and be yelled at while simultaneously caring for my mother.

I'll still check in, but I'm probably going to be pretty absent. I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry about that. Has she perhaps got osteoarthritis? The doctor who diagnosed me with AS broke her hip or upper leg (can't recall which) years ago and still needs walk with a stick as it never healed properly- yet she carried on working as she's devoted to her work.

I am very sorry about your mother, that is horrible. Osteonecrosis? I hope her doc can find a way to help her. Well wishes for both of you

{{{{{ XFG }}}}} Happy Birthday ... but so sorry to hear about your Mother’s arm!! ! I’m wondering if this is due to a loss of blood supply to the bone(osteonecrosis) ... whatever the cause, hope your Mum is in good hands and that any pain is being well managed.
