Some people here might be better at social media than me. Sometimes just names or handles (I think that's what it's called) will bring up the person's social media page. Or maybe there is a well-known activist in your country that we can contact, who could advocate for you?

I got someone here already but there is not much she can do, even though she is a lawyer. the ppl I mentioned could be some emotional support, very much needed right now. Thank you thank you!

No, there are about 60 ppl here but no autistics and I not very good at interacting with NTs for too long. Also, Im worried bc 3 of them are positive for covid19 and only partially isolated. I feel for them, I really do, but I fear this virus might spread to the entire clinic. Things are getting tougher. I gotta go now. Be back later. Thank you so so much!

My family doesn't get my autistic symptoms either and thinks I'm "exaggerating" and am doing things because I'm "selfish" and "don't care", when I usually am just so wrapped up in my own thoughts that I lose sight of things or forget what they tell me. I also have a very hard time keeping my mouth shut and tend to say whatever pops into my head. This has caused me numerous problems in life especially at work. I am now trying to break my (highly toxic) habit of engaging in volatile political debates with other users on this site. I can get very nasty when provoked, so I have to learn to stay away from things that provoke me as much as possible. People also think I am "flippant", nasty or defensive sometimes when the real problem is just frustration with the situation I am in. I get overwhelmed and just lash out.

Thank you <3 You sound a lot like me tbh. But I had been trying my best around my family and asking for understanding for the things I could not control. I have a lot of trouble keeping my mouth shut when I disagree and bc I am very blunt, I sometimes sound very rude when that was not my intention at all. Still working on it. As you mentioned, I too get frustrated and when I feel overwhelmed I lash out. I always apologise after I calm down but it doesn´t always work. Ugh!
