Assuming you have $1 million in hand
If I had a million dollars in my hand I would have a very big hand!
Aah. Then I would give some away to those who mean a lot to me, and the rest I will keep for whatever comes in life.
To be honest, I would want to forget I had it because the times I have had money (A couple of thousand) it was stressful.

I would firstly put the bulk in the hands of someone responsible as I am not great with budgeting.
But I would defiantly buy a car that i liked which i could buy the whip i wanted for about 15 or so k.
I would buy a new wardrobe and then put the rest away to my parents and kids in something they cannot touch including myself and pay someone to teach them financial responsibility and healthy life choices, education etc. and probably spend a bit at recording studio or something where I can have a place to give to others, such as helping them with music or utilise their gifts or ambitions / healthy wants other than drugs and violence for example.

Yeah, I'm an only child and my parents don't really need anything as far as I can tell. I'd definitely ask them if I could do anything helpful / useful / fun, though!
Two of my cousins are struggling atm but I'd need to find a way of helping without reinforcing their negative behaviours. That would be an interesting challenge.
Buy all the land adjoining mine, build a pond, a root cellar/tornado shelter, newer gently used truck, fencing, tons of stuff like statues, arbors and garden plants, large greenhouse, new furniture, newer energy efficient windows, install solar , build a small barn, new energy efficient appliances, pay off my credit card bill, at debts my kids have and donate to favorite charities. Then I’d be broke again.

With $1 million, there are loads of things that i could do.
I would like to build a recording studio somewhere that the land is cheap, perhaps with a flat attached.
So as to start a business, and make myself a job.
If not that, i would use the money to build properties, again in a country where land and building is cheap.
Build a small estate of soundproof small homes for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, perhaps somewhere
around people who are really kind natured and the area is very low risk / low crime.
I would also like to help my parents, my niece and one or two friends who have life hard, due to lack of income and poor health.
Perhaps also look for other ways to invest the money to help people.
I would like to help people in 3rd world. As the poverty of this world really is unjust and unfair.
If only people with money helped more. We could have a much better world.
I ammended it a little because owning a house has responsibility. Having money also is stressing, especially when certain individuals would hound me to pay off their debts and then spend all over again knowing I will bail them out! So I found life was less stressful not having. No pressure. Ok, sometimes not having brings pressure..
I have had long periods of no income so it meant selling house, selling classic car, selling camper van, selling other things... But to be honest, keeping them brought stress as I could not look after them when I hit burnouts.
Money is useful in many ways, but I am not bothered so much about it. As long as I am not in debt, and I have enough to keep myself happy, and my Mum is happy (I live with my Mum) we are fine.
The problem is that there is always something in life that needs seeing to, but my experience is that the more one has, the more that needs seeing to.
Itis like having a large model railway. Seems great and idealytic, but in reality there is a LOT of track to clean and a LOT of locos to keep in good running order to make it all work and run. Fine for a club but foe one individual the work of maintaining it can be tedious.
But if one makes a smaller layout, it is more achievable. It does not take long to clean track or service locomotives... One is far more likely to relax and get to run trains!
Life is like that at times.

I'd definitely share some of the money with my family, especially my mom, because they all deserve it after having helped support me in many ways since I was born. I'd pay off their car loans too, which would help them a lot.
Then, I'd use some to help pay for a place to live on my own and also get a nice used car that is reliable and in good shape. I'd also use some to help me finish paying for school, but I would still want to have a job. I'd also want to donate some to the local animal shelters and rescues that we got one of our dogs from and both of our cats.
Last but not least, I would put a portion in a savings account to keep in case of emergency.
I would use half of the money to buy an apartment in my part of London although anything I buy in this area would be pretty small as property is pretty expensive here. With the remaining half, one-third of it would be put into a savings account with a half-decent interest rate, another third would be given to my close family and I would spend the remaining third on holidays and other fun things to do.
I worked on the basis if I invested in buy-to-let property that would give me a basic income to live from. So I could donate to charity, and help out my immediate family from that. And the income from any extra work I did would also be 100% disposable.
Having double-checked the maths I don't think two properties would be enough. So I'd invest in 3x £200k properties, leaving £145k for a new boat. Whatever I sold my existing boat for (probably around £40k), I'd use as my education / hobby / volunteering / small business set-up fund.
If I wanted any flashy toys I'd have to save up for them, same as normal.
Student loans, than my dad would quit his job and my family would live on it until the pandemic is over. I don't know exactly what I would do after that. I should have at least 850,000-900,000 left over if I don't spend more than my family normally would (unless the vaccine comes much later than expected) and I'd like to give most of it away but I'd keep some for security and for getting started on whatever I decide to do.

The neighbor under us now gets upset if we make any noise at night or wear our shoes inside our place for 5 minutes while we are coming back or getting ready to go somewhere in the middle of the day. I'm thinking I should tell her off next time she tries to complain about unavoidable noises to me. She left us a note while we were out one day that said they could not get any sleep for the last few nights because we were doing chores. Thing is Cass was passing a kidney stone & we were going to bed at 10pm & waking up at 6am. Cass kept getting out of bed to go to the bathroom those nights & not much else. I was in bed the whole time. Out neighbor keeps telling us about how sick she is but we have illness as well. It is NOT our fault she is sick & it is NOT our fault this place is not built rite. She needs to learn to accept that or request a transfer to a top floor apartment on the grounds of her medical issues. We heard trough the grapevine that the people who lived in this apartment before us filed a restraining order against her cuz she kept complaining to them. I think that b!tch is sick in the head.
However, I'd be kinda pissed off if she's with me just for the money. Also, if I have a health issue, all the money in the world might not make me happy necessarily. And also the fact, some health issues cant be solved by having a lot of money, especially critical ones.
And other than that - buy the most expensive or highest quality things, when it comes to electronics, vehicles, furniture, and so on.

Even if it's only 3%, that's still $30,000 a year. That may not sound like much, but it's a nice cushion in addition to whatever else you make. If you're underemployed, it can be a godsend. If you have a good job, but are miserable and struggling to keep it, you can consider part-time work, or not worry as much if you're fired. Most Aspies who work are either underemployed, or have good jobs but struggle harder than NTs to hold on to them.
