I would not mind an electric scooter, that could be kinda fun...and would make some distances easier. I know there are even some that can fold up to bring on the bus easier.

the powered ones for the most part of bulky, or heavy or expensive or some combination.

If you have the handlebars adjusted for your height . Thay can be pretty easy to ride.
Only ever tried to ride once one , but it seemed very natural .As long as you know to get off it
If you have any difficulty stopping it . And are careful about charging process , to get maximum life
Outta the. Battery. They look like fun .

the larger scooters that have fatter tires are a lot safer and fun to ride.
