I was a misanthrope in my 20s partly due to a bad depression & being lonely & others blaming me for my loneliness & whatever problems I had due to being disabled. My depression improved a lot after I got my current girlfriend & moved in with her 8 years ago. Moving across the country to a much more progressive state than the deep south helped me a lot as well. I kinda quit being a misanthrope then thou I was still very introverted. I started believing that humans had a lot of potential for great improvement. However during the last 4 years I've gradually started slipping back to misanthropia & this virus cr@p escalated my misanthropia from a slide to a fall.
I'm gonna answer the topic question now & say that there would be much less problems with germs if us humans tried to treat everything with the respect we would want to be treated by. That goes for other humans, the environment, our various plant life, & our various animal species.

The more I learnt about humanity, the greater my misanthropy grew. 8)

I dislike some humans, but i also dislike germs for causing the tiny ones inside me (cells) such trouble! At least I have a tiny military to see me through!

Compared to germs? Yes.

I doubt we're the only animal with compassion though.

In fact as a pet owner, I know we're not.

Be nice if germs did have compassion, maybe we wouldn't be in a pandemic right now.

Depends...

Humans have compassion and there's still war...

We'd be ok as long as they weren't as broad as us in terms of good and bad

Rabbit brained germs would be good. Only biting once bitten, otherwise tame. Despite having a cat & loving a couple cats who murder hunt rabbits :( , rabbits are my favourite animal I think.

Yes, yes you do. Been watching cells at work? Now anytime I get a paper cut etc I imagine little elementary school platelets fixing it. Or I get a cold, the white blood cells assassinating the virus.

I don't really have a problem with germs, they're just a part of nature, they have no will. Humans though choose to be jacka**s.

When I was a kid I thought that Germaline was there to make Germans go away.

My grandma kept it.

She used to put it on my half German cousin... 8O

Lucky you weren't there, Cockney! 8O
