I wonder if they have the same slogan about checking in but never checking out.

I was gonna ask if "anyone ever checks out" until I remembered that the American product is called "Roach Motel".

:)

Lol that’s correct.
I hope that hotels floors aren’t as sticky as a roach motel.

Though not the best name for marketing the hotel is probably owned by a family named "roach". which is not the rarest name in the English speaking world.

Most of the movies that starred Laurel and Hardy were produced by "Hal Roach Studios".
Roach is also American slang for the end of a joint, aka the butt of a marijuana cigarette

Sometimes the "a" is omitted if its a surname. As with these sisters.

I once saw a Tiny Toon Adventures episode about a trio of singing female cockroaches called "The Roches". In the episode they infest Hampton J. Pig's kitchen at night to have their concert. Many more bugs and insects come to watch them perform. Hampton was a real neat freak and really hated bugs so he tried to exterminate them, but the Roches convinced him that they had much of a right to live as he did by singing him a song:

We are the Roches, and if you think bugs aren't cool,
We knew the Beatles when they lived way back in Liverpool
As insects go we've had very long careers,
Roaches been on Earth four hundred million years
Some people try to lure us into a Roach Motel,
As far as we're concerned they can go to... Carnell!

The group I posted must have been the voices for those cartoon "Roches". :)

Sometimes the "a" is retained.
