I don't hate any of these replies so far but im surprised nobody's posted about the sadness and emptiness it causes somethimes nor the situation of being in love with someone you will never have.

^ I experienced this. Although in my case the person i loved was an amazing person with such a big heart, i simply felt happy to have met such a person. Even if he is not with me, he will always be in my heart

I very well know how frustrating that can be but I also had LOTS of sadness & emptiness before I fell in love for the 1st time. Either option made me very miserable so it's a d@mn good thing I'm in a relationship.

@aprilr well then you never really were in love with that person becuse in that kind of situation it would hurt a lot more than that.

I never said it did not hurt. I am saying the happiness it brought me more than made up for the hurt.
