a pointed/specific prayer would i think be a useful and desirable course of action.

I will ask my meeting to hold her in the Light.

Poor Juliette. Long covid steals your life. Thank you, Kites, for letting us know.

She did. Occasionally sent pictures.
Was recently getting in to growing dahlias, think it was an uncle of hers who was in to them.

Update:

Juliette is feeling better enough to have sent a short note saying she had just found and ordered a couple things to be sent for my birthday. Said she's still having trouble writing much of anything.

But, hey, she's doing better than a week ago when powerful dizziness and exhaustion were knocking her down; this is progress toward recovery/healing, whatever pace it moves at, we'll take it!
:D

Hoping for a full recovery.

Juliette, Julie, and I have had a lot of fun for several years sending letters and packages back and forth across the Atlantic Ocean. At this time she is very, very, very, sick with long covid and an additional viral infection on top of that.
On June 6 she sent me an email saying she'd try to write me for my birthday (next week at this point) but was too sick to write more than that and it looked like it would be a very long time before she could write again.
Julie asked me to forgive her & she gave me her permission to find someone healthier to love.

So, Juliette is in a bad way.

You & her were dating? I was close to Julie too, we been private messaging here for a really long time, we even email each other, but she stopped emailing me. We continue to messages on WP, she never mention you.

Definitely sorry to hear she has to deal with Long Covid. Glad she is doing better.

I am touched she included me in her amazing tribute to WP members poems.

Since we live on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean, 4000 miles, 6400 km, apart, I'm not sure that would even be practical to try. :D

She's a good gal and fun to talk about all sorts of things with.
At this point in time it is difficult for her to write at all & that has been developing for a while.
To pin a number on it, one could say that 3 emails a month is a lot right now.

TBH, I dated a woman for almost a year and only actually met in person once. It was one of the best relationships that I've ever had with anybody. In retrospect, that may have meant something that I can't quite put my finger on...

So, just living 4k miles away doesn't necessarily mean that it couldn't have worked.

I see now that the correct thing for me to have done would have been to ignore the very existence of this thread and to have left everyone ignorant and wondering.

I wasn't saying to do it, I was pointing out that online only relationships can work.

Does she know you're sharing her medical and relationship info in this thread?
