A lot of the clothes I buy are on sale from $5 to $30.
Just bought a used Goretex jacket for $23! With shipping and tax! Great for those windy fall days!

I almost never buy clothes because I already have clothes. I Had 13 pairs of the same jeans from Costco, but some have worn out and gotten thrown away so I'm maybe down to 6 or 7. Regular price is $18.99, but I stock up when they go on sale for $12.99. :D I don't buy them Only because they're dirt cheap, but Also because they Fit and I have a ridiculously hard time finding jeans that fit at any price from $50-350. Plus since they have some stretchy stuff woven in them they don't blow out so easily climbing ladders & scaffolds. 8)

I bought a pair of running shoes this year, and a couple T-shirts at concerts.. other than that, nope. When I work I do dirty dusty work so almost any old thing will do, and when I go somewhere it's to a nude beach sooo doesn't matter what I wear on the drive to and from.*

*Unless I am riding my motorcycle. Then it matters more what I wear for the journey, ofc ofc.

The clothes matter tremendously when you are out on a golf course for a couple hours in the cold. It is hard to swing a golf club when you are freezing! Unlike running or hiking, you aren't really moving enough to generate a lot of heat.
It can be expensive or difficult to find clothes that don't impede one's golf swing while providing plenty of warmth.

Woman's clothes come in a wide variety colors and styles. It is fun to shop for something different!

^I have clothes that keep me warm already, no need for more. Last year I replaced my long underwear with new ones (with silver woven in the fabric) only because the decade old same pair's waistband has failed. My brother bought me a long sleeve base layer shirt for motorcycling, so now I have a couple to rotate. etc. Clothing is simply something I might buy a handful of items/year. So incredibly wasteful when people replace clothing frequently for no other reason than some different colour is in fashion now. That's why the world has a serious environmental problem with what to do with used clothing piling up everywhere. I'm not part of that problem.

Box One - I'm Batting 500

French wool beret - nice

Sherpa shacket - nice - not convinced she'll wear it because it has a hood, but it's cosy and she loves sherpa

Periwinkle Sweatshirt 1 - Nope - crap quality

Plum Sweatshirt - Nope - crap quality for other reasons

On to Box 2

Box 2 - It's a bust

Bootie Slippers - They're way too big on me which means they'll be way too big on her, and she'll fall
They're also covered in sequins (?!) when there are no sequins in the picture or the advert
They sent me two pairs of this when I ordered one pair
I'll have to check if I paid for two, but either way both pairs are going back

Pale Blue Sweatshirt - Same crap quality as the others

Foam Hair Curlers - Too wide - Not the size I ordered

A lot of things I ordered didn't show up, so I'll have to check on those

Back to the drawing board, and the liquor store for wine.
That will always fit.

I've been "working on," gifts for one family over the last ~month of going to an artists "studio," (cockroach infested ghetto SRO hotel room) every night or two to keep tabs on his progress and make sure he doesn't sell my commissioned paintings to someone else.

Not sure yet what I'm gonna buy for gifts for others on my list yet. But the above project that ideally would have involved just dropping off canvases and picking them up a week or two later has turned into spending I don't know how many hours hanging out and chatting with the guy, watching him work, buying him food/drinks etc.. probably a cumulative 45-50 hours and ongoing + driving time etc. It's been worth while for a variety of reasons from interest to business, buuuut with Christmas approaching I'm gonna have to make a list and bang it off pretty quickly.

I think Some households on my Christmas list are going to get much more simplified gifts vs. thinking of this or that to get each person. Like maybe I'll just get movie gift certs at Costco for the whole household and they can all go out together to see some new blockbuster film. Stuff like that.

But for Some ppl on my list I still need to figure out some individual gifts -> especially for each of my several God kids. Hmm. I'd better make a list soon and get buying/ordering etc.

Thankfully I don't have a job to balance in the mix right now lolololol too many other things to do -> I'm looking across the sprawling mess of paperwork on my kitchen island right now with several 1/2 finished paperwork projects from taxes to vehicle insurance to accounting/invoicing, new business/marketing ideas and so on - stuff I have to complete, file, schedule, make notes/expanded plans to execute blah blah. But I do have a contract job I've been working on this past week and I have 2 more days to finish it.. gonna work on it in the afternoon til night and there's a Chance I could even complete it late Thursday night but more realistically I'll have to make another trip Friday.

Hmm, nephew's 19th bday party Saturday + Christmas decorating party. I dunno if we'll do exterior lights too this year ?? but maybe sometime this weekend I'll complete my list and gift ideas and start really shopping/online shopping if Know what I'm buying.. Good thing I don't have a full time job to do too! (For now) but just my luck another potential contract might come to fruition and then I'll somehow have to bust ass to blitz through it before Christmas, too. It's a new retail store location in a local mall and they'll need all the walls finished.. at least if I'm working In The Mall then I can get some shopping done there too I guess. (but if the details on the job come through and it's bunk then F that guy, he can find someone else and live with the results.. he pays LOW, so it's only worth it if the details come back as it being an Easy job of all walls no ceilings. If they have a massive ceiling and want it done for rock bottom wall prices they can get someone else to do it for peanuts.)

Blah blah blah.. I'm sorta busy soooo maybe I really should be thinking of more things to click and order online for the convenience factor.
