If it was summer, the households here will be worried about bills and heat stroke.


Why not just go to the beach or to the highlands where it's cold?
Pffft, I wish. We ain't so privileged enough to have a 'summer vacation' even if it's less than 5 hr drive away and back.


Swimming?
On a budget, one time trip, sure.
But every week or so more often for the past few hot months? ... That's another matter.



If it was summer, no one's home until past midnight.

I'll bug my aunt next door and hung around their air-conditioned room or even go to sleep at day and go to a mall and bring my meals and entertain there, while my mom's away at her air-conditioned office at day, with her friends at night.

If it was summer, I'd be roasting some smores.

if it was summer i'd be inside where there was A/C going.

It is summer here and I'm over it.
But 3 more months of heat and humidity to wade through yet.

If it was summer I wouldn't be sat indoors wearing my hat, hoodie and a thermal vest.

I'd be biking and camping

It would still be light outside.

it'd be stinkin' hot in most places.

I'd be experimenting with colours and different hats.

I would be outside taking care of the garden in the morning, enjoying the morning glories, then inside during the heat and humidity, then back outside for the cool of the evening.Smelling the night blooming flowers and watching giant moths feed off them.Watching a Moon flower open.

I'd be in the UK where the weather has the decency to be moderately warm instead of obscenely hot and humid like it is in Arkansas, and where dangerous insects and snakes are comparatively rare.

I'd be coming up with ideas for diabetic Slurpees and sending the ideas to 7-Eleven.
