Summer is a nightmare; people just reek.

Cut grass
Campfire
Unwashed hair, pits, crotch

I can't stand the smell of the perfume counters in shops. It makes me feel like I'm gonna puke.

I hate the smell of fitting rooms in clothes shops...they absolutely stink and I'm offended by them

Can't stand the changing rooms in the swimming baths for probably the same reason

I can't think what else....oh yeah B&Q! I hate the smell of B&Q.

Methylated spirits.

But I love the colour of it.

Most artificial scents.

Some types of meat. I think one of them is a certain cut of pork.

That strange aroma around the fertiliser and pesticide section of supermarkets. It feels like it's sticking to my lungs.

The smell in the air when farmers and park authorities fertilise the land. Few enjoy it, but few get so annoyed about it as I do. What the hell is it anyway? There are non-smelly fertilisers. Why can't they use those?

Interesting that I like a lot more smells than I dislike. Do I have a positive attitude, or is the world just being good to my nose?

Is it poop? They spray sewage on fields around here and it stinks.

I forgot to mention the smoke from barbecues, especially those cheap dummied-down ones that are full of chemicals to make them easy to use. I live in a crowded, built-up area in the UK and I can't hang my clothes out to dry without that crap sticking to them and making them stink.

Oh, and the stink of my neighbour's pungent cooking. Practically every day. He's got an extractor fan that blows it straight at my back door and window, and no matter what I do I can't stop the fumes getting into my living room. There's no predicting when he's going to start, or I'd be able to schedule my shopping trips to coincide with his fumes. I have to use a scented oil vaporiser to mask it, and it's not always enough.

cigarette smoke
male sweat
strong body odor
fresh lumber
strong perfumes/colognes
strong deodorant
gasoline
bleach
alcohol on someone's breath

These are things that are extremely unpleasant or actually painful. There are many others that I'd rather not be near.
