Rallying on bitumen?
No 5m high rooster tail? No getting airborne?
If all you get is squealing and the smell of burning rubber I'll stick to my forest track.
I wish I'd recorded the rotaries sucking methanol during the last rally around my place.

Interesting choices.

I quite like the sound of the Nissan VQ35 V6 Engine, although I prefer them with stock exhaust because VQ engines are naturally fairly loud from the factory.

VQ's (35 and 37) are fairly difficult to get sounding truly nice. The angle of the V is so tight, and the firing overlap is so close, with the wrong exhaust they sound more like a 3-cylinder 2-stroke. Done right, they sound pretty slick.

Speaking of Nissans, another fav - R34 Skyline GT-R. RB engines in general sound really nice. I have an RB25DET in an S13 240SX. Love how it sounds.

This is the best sounding Cavalier I've heard (circa 2'50").

You know that you have ran out of things to do when you start messing with the exhaust system on your Cavalier.

When I was a kid I remember seeing a lot of hotrodded Cavaliers and Sunbirds/Sunfires.

In the case of that channel, they've got lots of cheap cars and mostly have been modding them as science experiments.

The Cavaliers had the Z-24 edition, which had a bigger engine and a supercharger option, as well as a few suspension mods, while the Sunnies had a GTS version, with similar treatment but a turbo instead of a super. They were cheap fun for their day.

Plus, there's an element of fun when it comes to taking an extremely ordinary car, and making it very much not ordinary.
