My wonderful family
The education I'm getting
The very nice city I live in
My special interests (NT life must be so boring)
And, new since last Thanksgiving, this website :)


I am thankful I survived out at work long enough to get this year's holiday bonus :mrgreen:

I also finished the hundredth page of a delightful novel, "Strangers" by Dean Koontz, recommended by my brother.

I had a nice time alone at home with my cats and have two days of blissful weekend still ahead.

I am thankful for the people in my life, like my bf and my sister. And also for the people that have passed on, like my parents and my late bf.


I think with me I'm simply content to feel that I've been lucky about this or that. I just enjoy certain things while they're around, and I feel warm towards people who are kind to me in ways that I can relate to. It probably boils down to the same thing as thankfulness, just that I use different words.

My family and pets (I consider them part of the family, of course, but had to note them separately)
To live in Connecticut instead of the red state I lived in previously
My health (I've had some scares and am glad that everything has turned out fine)
