Taco Bell. I never eat BK. I don't know why. I used to all the time. But hardly ever in a very long time. I get TB on a regular basis though.

Thirty five years ago, I lived in a town that had a Burger King on the edge of town. One time we had a power outage but the Burger King still had power. So I went over there.

That was the most pathetic hamburger of my life. The fries, too. One bite of each and I threw the rest away.

About the only way I would even try Burger King again would be if they gave me a number of completely free coupons for their food. Maybe if I ate there ten times and all were okay, I would continue going there again. One bad item, though, and it would probably take another thirty five years go go there again.
When I was a kid I didn't like burgers so I always chose to go to Mc.Donald's instead of BK. Me & lots of others hated BK's french-fries when we had them. I liked BK's onion-rings & still do but they are not nearly as good as restaurant onion-rings. Picking Mc.Donald's as a kid meant I could eat nuggets & fries whereas at BK I would only eat onion-rings. As a teen I started liking burgers but I still avoided BK partly out of habit & still expecting BK's fries to s#ck. At Mc.Donald's I started getting burgers in addition to the nuggets, & fries. At some point BK changed their fries & I started hearing they were better. Around the time I became an adult I had to eat at BK(picking Mc.Donald's wasn't really an option that time) & I realized their fries were good & their burgers were better than at Mc.Donald's & still are.

Either way, tacos are great.

I've generally had good luck with Taco Bell.

The one exception is at the one nearest me in a town about 20 miles away. My mother was in the hospital and I stayed there all night to be available if she needed my help. The next morning about 10 am, I was headed to my office 35 miles away and stopped to get three tacos. Those three tacos had about the least amount of filling imaginable. The fillings on them -- meat, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, salsa -- was only about 1/4 inch deep in the "U" (i.e. with the taco standing on the edge, the filling only extended up about 1/4 inch from the very bottom). I was eating while I drove and didn't feel like going back to complain about being cheated. But I have not been to that Taco Bell since then.

For what it's worth, I hate to complain at fast food restaurants. You never know what they will do to your food after that. Instead, I just don't go back.

There is another Taco Bell about 50 miles away and I have no problem with eating there. If they were closer, I'd go more often. As it is, though, I have plenty of options close than there.

Those are "street tacos". The kind they sell from street side taco stands and "roach coaches" as well as little restaurants. They're the best.

Btw, I think one would die of malnutrition, not hunger. Hunger is the feeling, malnutrition is the term for when the body doesn't have the substances needed to continue living.

I don't mind BK's chicken sandwiches, but their hamburgers are bad. So I guess BK I would choose.

Taco Bell, I don't care to spend the rest of the day in the bathroom

I mean Taco Bell is my go-to fast food option so obviously I'd choose them.

And BK is my least favorite of the big three fast food chains so...

I'm not sure where the hate for BK comes from. It's not what I would consider to be a gourmet dining experience, but it's not even remotely bad food. And with coupons it's super, super cheap.

Taco Bell though is down with Chipotle in terms of bad Mexican food. I'm not even sure that it's fair to use the term Mexican with respect to either of them. There's just so many other better Mexican fast food restaurants around here without even considering the standalone options and food trucks. I'd personally go Del Taco before I went Taco Bell, just because it's open basically all the time, a lot cheaper, and clearly intended for people that get the munchies.

Foreign versions of restaurants are often not at all the same. The BK in the US tends to be more or less acceptable, not great, but super cheap and more in keeping with what McDonald's was before they went super-expensive for what is essentially crap food. It kind of surprised me when I was overseas that Pizza Hut was somehow a high end, sit down restaurant.

I'd rather eat Burger King.

If I actually were literally starving and hadn't eaten in days, I don't think eating a lot of any food at once would be a good because of that "feeding syndrome". I've heard of people dying after they ate a lot after being on a hunger strike.

Yes ...MG it is a clam shell shaped thing with some version of meat usually alittle beef ,tomato bits ,lettuce shreds, and cheese shreds stuffed into the middle of it , and the clam shell can be made of flour or corn flour type stuff. call a tortilla
one of them is not much food. but I enjoy the taste better than most all fast food burgers .
