He's 7 years old - he should be learning to write. And that's great writing for a 7 year old. As I learned the one time I was subbing in first grade and the students were writing a "paragraph" to be put on display. The teacher told me not to accept anything that wasn't neat so I had most students rewrite theirs 3 or 4 times. The teacher was utterly amazed at how neat some of the writing was, and I was still thinking "Is this good enough to hang up...."
