Same here, but occasionally on other people when I want to find an old post of theirs. It doesn't seem to work since the crash a few days ago.

I admit I've used it before. I did it to some of the members who have high post counts and have been around for a while on this site to look up what their early posts were like. To see if their personalities were different a long time ago.

My earlier posts I got riled up a lot, so don't check them out if you like me. If you hate me, or want to hate me, then by all means go for it. I'll deny everything anyway.

I use it, for a number of purposes. I do stalk a couple posters. 8) Not always the same ones, mind you. Except for TM1--I'm always stalking him, though that's more ninja in the bushes style than online.

I also like to look back and see people's introductions (I never made one!). It's really too bad that the tool isn't functioning correctly anymore.

My posting history makes me look borderline insane, for how much I've changed over the past four months. Probably a fair estimation. :D

Yeah, It's fun looking at someone's initial posts and then compare it to what they are doing lately.

I've done it when I wanted to reply to a particular post, but it got buried underneath tons of other threads.

I would be bored reading my old posts. I have a fair number of them now. Nearly all of them involve either my pets or Roger Bannister.

Yes I do. Usually when I read a newish member's post and want to know a little of their history. I sometimes find that I can only do a couple of pages then I can't search back any further (although there are more pages) Anyone else find that happens?

Yes, but not to read all the posts. Mainly to see what people's first post was, especially among those who are not diagnosed or are unsure if they have AS. I simply want to know if they are similar to me, or if they came to some of the same conclusions I did.

Never. I don't need to use it on myself because I remember every single post I've ever made. And I don't use it on anyone else, because if I want to find out what you said, I will come to your house, pound on your door, chain you to your bed, and tickle you until you tell me. ;)

If you try accessing old posts through the member profile page you will not get past the first page....
This problem had been addressed else where:

I also know to use a "&start=999" tacked onto the "Show all posts by" to get at the rest (which... checks... still gives "No topics or posts met your search criteria" if you try to do it the "proper" way).

Could you please be a bit more specific? Where does one tack "&start=999" to get at my old posts?

Uh.... never mind I should have read further..... *slaps himself on forehead with the palm of his hand *

However, I've just discovered that you can achieve the original effect by using "Search". Just search for the "Author", with "Display results as: posts" and "Sort by" changed to "descending". Then the page numbers work.

I am definitely saving this one in my WP Scrapbook.
