Neti pots! I've been using one every day for about two weeks, and now that I've perfected the process, I do it twice a day. It's a fantastic natural remedy.

As for toenail fungus treatment, I've heard of Vick's, neem oil, and tea tree oil. What seems to work best for me, although I haven't been doing it for long enough to know for sure, is simply to file off the affected part of the nail and then clean it with plenty of Listerine. When filing, I hold the file almost parallel with the nail, but with a slight downwards angle, to give the end of the nail a bevel. Filing in that fashion makes it easy to shorten the nail without allowing the deeper part of the nail to pull up from the toe.

Neti pots are awesome. I use a mixture of filtered warm water, sea salt, and a drop or two of food grade peppermint oil. The peppermint refreshes the nasal passages beautifully.

Made big mistake one time of treating my cat's ear mites with tea tree oil before looking it up first and seeing big article about how it is toxic

My cat hates the smell of tea tree oil. Sometimes, I dab a little on if I've a mosquito bite, or a pimple, and she won't come near me until the scent wears off. Same with Tiger Balm and liniment.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be careful around the furbaby...I love tea tree oil, mine doesn't care for the smell either and steers clear though.

Neti pot...I used to get a nasty sinus infection every winter before I started using one of those. 8O

Started the oil pulling yesterday...I'll see what happens. 8)

I've done the oil pulling for three days, now. Have not got that unpleasant taste at the back of my throat that I usually have. And my mouth doesn't feel so dry.

Liquorice is good is you have mouth ulcers or sore gums. But make sure it's real liquorice as some sweets sold as liquorice just contains the flavouring.

Crushed sage leaves steeped in water makes a nice final hair rinse for dark hair and a sage gargle is good for sore throats. I'm well into sage! :) Here's some info about it:-
