I have no problems riding a bike. It took me a while to learn when I was little but once I got the hang of it I was okay. Now, roller-skating is a different issue entirely.

Teaching my daughter to ride a bike was...effortful. She's almost 4 and I'd been trying to teach her how to pedal (other kids her age did, on those big wheels bikes) but she just could not grasp it. Now that she finally has, we got her a bike over the summer and she just loves to ride it. I've heard that people on the spectrum can have difficulty with pedaling.

I have a problem with applying too much pressure with my feet and breaking off the pedals.

I am able to ride a bike, though I live where there are lots of hills and going up them is a lot harder than going down. I used to borrow a bike for running errands at work but no longer because work has moved and there are no more errands to run and the person who owned the bike doesn't work for us now. I have my own bike in the garage but I think the brakes need a little adjustment when I get the time

Heres my "Dream Bike" for us. and the first $4500.00 I get I'm gonna buy it for us, have allready contacted them only $1,000.00 for shipping :D

Used to race in college and my dream is to start a "Bike Tour" on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail here in Anchorage.
I prefer it to cars and the only reason I now own a car is because of the winters here. Plus I'm a "Tree-hugger" and think we're killing the planet with cars and each other over oil. (Henceforth, my avatar)

I'm almost 28 and have never learned to ride a bike. My parents gave up on trying to teach me fairly quickly, it seems... not that I was too bothered, considering my abject lack of co-ordination...

I learned when I was small, and used to ride alot, not so much anymore.

My dad thought it would be a good idea to practice on the grass in my back yard, it has a slope and trees, and of course, as I was cruisin down the slope their was a tree in front of me and could not avoid it, as I was still learning. I got hurt and stopped riding for a while, then learned on pavement.

Learned to ride when I was a lad. Took to it right off. Don't ride these days, too out of shape. Never rode in traffic, only on hilly roadways. That biking on dirt trails is bloody dangerous. There's been times past when the Missus and I were out for a hike, and some crazed lunatic on one of those things would come roaring at us from out of nowhere!! We'd jump off the trail like scared bunnies!! !

my oldest is almost 7 and he won't even sit on a bike. Last year we got one of those "BigWheels" because I thought if he was closer to the ground he wouldn't be so afraid, but no. My other one almost 4 will sit on a tricycle and push with his feet but refuses to pedal.

No, I don't know how to ride a bike. When I was in sleepaway camp I tried for weeks to learn how to ride a bike but I never could of learned. I did have a bike when younger but it had training wheels on it. Also, as a kid I use to love riding those bigwheelers! Remember those?

I've always been great at things like this. My first bike only had one pedal & I figured it out. My mum said I have been able to throw a ball in a straight line since before I could walk. Yet walking on the other hand I am awkward. I guess I am better when I have something to concentrate on such as a ball, bike or roller-blades.

I learned it when I was maybe 4 or 5. It didn't come easily, it cost a lot of effort to learn it, but I did eventually. Now I'm learning to ride a motorcycle.

I'm from holland, of course I ride a bike.
As far as I know it didn't take much effort to learn, I learned at age 4.
