Not much right now. Laptop, large book collection, DVD collection, monthly money. But will inherit a large sum at some point in the, hopefully, distant future.

Wow! Is this common among people named Graelwyn?

There seems to be 7 Graelwyns here and they ALL say the same thing! :D

Considering material assests can range from having some value to having a lot of value, I do not consider myself to have too many 'material' assets. I used to be able to pack all my belongings into the back of my pickup and move.
Looking around, I have acquired quite a bit more in the materials department! and there's not too much I would actually miss if they were lost to me somehow.

Ooooh gawd, how embarrassing, I am sure I only clicked once... guess I got impatient again

Awww, don't be embarrassed (anymore), it made me smile! :D
Thanks

Hehe, glad I made you smile. You in turn made me smile with your original comment, but I was still somewhat hot faced :)

I could be crude (what else is new). However the morality group would have me before a firing squad.

Just a figure of speech. I look at it this way. If they don't like a particular thread, then don't read it. Much like television. If you don't like a show then change the channel.

I live in a rented apartment. I have some relatively expensive computer gear, and related electronics. I have a large collection of books (when I moved several years ago, it amounted to 1709 individual items, not counting the three magazines I subscribe to). Other than that, I own various and sundry items, such as a futon, some small appliances, non brand name clothing. I have a fair amount of money in the bank, but that will vanish when I take my son to Europe in March.

I would suppose that most people would consider this state of affairs to be a failure, financially speaking. I would rather say that a person who owns several thousand interesting books is rich in all the ways that truly matter.

To (badly) quote Erasmus, "when I have a little money, I buy books. If any is left, I buy food and clothing."

I don't have much that's worth anything in resale value... a crappy laptop, a couple nice pieces of jewelry. My cats and my K-pop collection are priceless to me though :)
