How in the world could I forget Kyle Katarn and Mario? They should also be on my list.

Kain from the Legacy of Kain series.

Oh yeah. I think he was good character. Unfortunatly I havn't played any others with Kain in it..yet. He was more interesting than Raziel in Legacy of Kain Defiance, where we got to play both characters. My favorite move of his was the 'suck blood as you fall' trick. :)

Midna is by far the best Zelda sidekick ever and behind Tails and Luigi is probably the best game sidekick ever.

Well, since I just finished Half Life 2 Episode 2, right now I've gotta say Alyx Vance, with honourable mention for Dog.

Out of all the characters on my list, my absolute favorite is Midna. I like her because of her character development, quick wit, and variety of emotions, among many other things.

I actually remember, with concerted effort to do so, playing through the original Metroid fast enough to get Samus to take off her amour. Boy were those the days...

I didn't get to play Metroid until I downloaded Console Classix. I'm more of a Super Metroid fan. :)

Favourites of mine include Samus Aran, Jill Valentine, Sonic the Hedgehog; the Joe Fixit version of the Incredible Hulk (from the Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction game), Solid Snake (although the actual game he's in - Metal gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - is actually rather crap, seeing as it's more a series of LONG and unskippable cut-scenes interspersed with brief bits of gameplay than a proper game), Spider-Man, Axel, Blaze, and Max from the Streets Of Rage games, Mario, and Dynamite Headdy.

Dude, look at the page I linked "Samus" to in my post. (Is it just me, or is the style for hyperlinks here hard to notice sometimes?)

Well, I hereby name you my Noble Metroid Sister; I've enjoyed the entire series; it is a fascinating gameverse.

Were you even born when the original Metroid was released (1986)? 8O Given all of the Legend of Zelda fans I've met who are half my age, I'm starting to pick up the notion that the best video game series are able to span generation gaps. Kind of like what happens with film and literature, except very much less expected.

Good fortune,

- Icarus loves gaming geek girls...
