I wonder if it's Australia specific this "lack of experience" for the-most menial of jobs it certainly seems that way I have an Italian friend that I haven't seen for years :D make this complaint. In crazy person mode I ended up in Switzerland in a red neck town (I was on disability their to ! ) and got offered 4 jobs without any experience and the unemployment rate is only slightly lower to here, every job they seem to want the world world , so annoying.

I wonder if it's the degrees that's holding you back to these menial jobs ? Hopefully you'll find work.

I can pass exams therefore I can't stack shelves? Yeah, that's logical.
I should do an experiment: send my resume out with no mention of my qualifications and see if I get more response.
