Christmas has pegan origans, except for the Christ birth thing. Ask a deeply loyal christian or pegan about it. I am not pegan, and also not the best christian of my religion. However, both sides have told me the same things about that holiday. I still like Christmas for the presents, and the achnowledgment of Jesus' existance.

I don't care much for Santa, and all the movies being on TV though. It gets so boring after a long time. I feel that some Pegans and Christians don't like each other, belief wise. (no I didn't say 'all")

I used to like it, but not anymore. As far as the religious aspects...Jesus wasn't born in December, the biblical account doesn't make sense if it was wintertime. The only reason Christians started to celebrate it in December is to coincide with the pagans' winter solstice celebrations so nobody is persecuted.

I've heard that Jesus was born in June.

I like Christmas but commercialism is around, being so early, like adverts at October. My friend's are Muslim, they like Christmas. Christmas is not just a Christian celebration.

It should be that way though. Is Ashura for Buddhists, is Kwanzaa for Irish, is Purim for Atheists?
