It's Christmas Day in Australia (9:45 am to be exact). We've been up since 5.00 am.

AussieBoy got new computer games and books - he's happy.

UbbyUbbyUbby got a dragon leggo set + a couple of other leggo sets - he's happy.

4 year old son got lots of cars and trucks - he's happy.

My husband got clothes + new stamps for his collection - he's happy.

I got lots of cash - that's all I wanted - for me to spend when I go on my European adventure in 13 days.

I don't open my presents until after I've had my traditional English breakfast (about 8 hours from when this message was posted) (Christmas is probably the only time my parents cook a full English breakfast). I hope to get a PS3 this year, and maybe the Simpsons DVD, (or, if I've been a good boy, blu-ray) :D

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

My stepfather found a copy of Gunter Grass's most obscure work: Show Your Tongue. I thought all copies had vanished from the face of the earth.

Marbles colored to look like planets.

Dickens Dickens Dickens!

An MST3K DVD.

A journal.

Cookbooks.

Multiple Barnes & Noble gift cards from multiple people.

Candy.

My own copy of The Idiot.

A flying cow toy.

A collection of Bloom County comic strips.

A philosophy book about the wages of extremism.

Sme clothes, a few more clothes then a couple pairs of socks. I don't mean to be ungrateful, but when I know its clothes i'm opening, I just think boring. That sounds awful I know, when there are poor people in this world who suffer. I got some dvd's which I can't wait to watch. Some golf balls. It just dosen't feel like christmas to me though, which makes me a bit sad :(

Organic gluten and dairy free truffles from sister in the post, and that's it. Parents gave me about £70 for Xmas a while back, which i spent on a luscious black jacket, XXXL mans, in silkily gleaming glory. It has an interesting "pocket detail" ( I hate flaps and not too keen on the intrusive horizontal lines that are usual). Still not worn it. Just happy to have it.

8 year old son got some Mars Mission etc. And I did finish giving him my real present, the one he said sounded almost too good to be true; tidying up his room puttting all the 10,000 odd items away in right place just in time for him to fill the place up again with a massive Mars Mission landscape ! ! I had fun this morning helping him create a complement to the minimal team of Astronauts that came with the Mars kits, choosing legs and helmets and heads from the lego mini-figs now findable amongst the newly tidied toys. :D
