Regarding the family I grew up with (i.e. parents)... I wouldn't go so far as to say "hate" and I certainly never mulled over killing them 8O, but my mental state suffers terribly when I am in their presence. If I spend any amount of time with them, now that I am adult, I am profoundly suicidal within 48 hours. I don't know how I survived childhood/ teenagehood. There were so many things they did and did not do, and I would tell myself, "When I'm a parent, I'll understand." Well I'm a parent now, and I still don't understand. I don't understand how anyone could have so much darkness and hatred incubating inside of them, and why such people would choose to procreate.

I don't hate my family.

My mothers side of the family raised me... I can't hate them for that. I do however not like the fact that they judge me at times. That is just a part of life, though.

My fathers side of the family I have no contact with so I don't hate them nor like them as I don't even know them.

I could create a decent list for reasons to hate my family. But, I don't hate 'em. I just don't like them very much.

I love my family. Without my mother, I'm not sure how I'd survive.

I just hate myself :(

Sometimes I really feel like moving out and going to live under some godforsaken bridge or something to escape my nagging mother (who gives meaning to the word "scandal", btw) , but home is where what's left of my family is. I adore them.

I swing between hating and then pitying certain family members. Oh, well, they say the best revenge is to live well. So I try to do that.

I like and love my family.

I get on really well with my parents and am very proud of them.

I enjoy my sons very much.

I love + get on well with my husband after 13 years of marriage.

It's refreshing to hear that. Guess I'm a little jealous!

the person who annoys me the most out of my whole family is my father. he doesn't seem to understand anything about individual feelings of a human being. he jokes around a lot and never understands when the joking needs to stop.

That sounds like my brother. He is constantly joking. He has gotten screamed at by his wife, and by my other brother, to quit joking around, but he seems oblivious. I happen to find him very funny, though.

I don't hate anyone. Sometimes I'm disappointed by my family, but I would never wish death upon them. :?

My cousin nearly died a couple of months ago from brain cancer, and I don't know what I would've done if he had. You'll probably feel a lot more differently if it happened. How do you think they'd feel if they knew you actually wished them dead?!

I have a loving, stable relationship with my parents. I'm ungrateful and rude sometimes, but I am a flippin' teenager at the end of the day!
