I post the vast majority of my posts, rarely one that gets not posted

The high majority of posts I start to make end up not being posted. It's a miracle I even talk at all online. Most of the time I just can't see anything I have to say as being even remotely useful or contributing to a conversation, and I tend to regret the majority of posts I do actually make.

About 10 to 20%. I thought of this number the moment I read this topic.

Almost all. Most of the time it just feels like I'm repeating myself or someone else. Or that everyone already knows what I was going to say since it was so obvious to them but not to me and I don't want to look like a ret*d so I just shut up.

I have done that several times. I either deleted a post entirely or modified it.

About 50%.
That's usually when I hit the games/random forum to clear my head.

They are at the post before they are off topic

I have posted about 95% of what I have thought, but then it takes me a long time to do one post because I have to order my thoughts. I guess I am very fussy and edit carefully for spelling, grammar, and vocabulary. Of course a few mistakes come through. I try to be very reasonable with my answers and think though them very carefully. I do not communicate well verbally and I craft my written answers as if I was constructing a piece of machinery or sculpting art. :)

Way more than half.... and if you count the ones I stopped myself from even BEGINNING to type... then dozens for each one I actually post...

I quit on about 25% of the posts that I start. I never start actually typing about 50% of the ones that I spend some time thinking of what to say, but mentally delete it, and move on. I don't know why it seems so hard for me to put my thoughts into coherent words.

I type a lot then cancel it because I figure nobody will be interested.

I never hold back on detail - only for interests sake.

I hate repeating questions that were already asked so before I start a new thread I check if there wasn't such a topic already. If it was there - I resign from writing a post.

A lot of them. I wouldn't know what percentage though.
I've noticed that I do this a lot in threads that already have several posts. I'll start to write something, but then I'll delete it because I think it sounds too similar to something that was already posted.

10 or 15% ish. Also, I sometimes edit them and just today I deleted one immediately after I posted it.
