a new excuse to buy a card. as for the abortion issue... u can never know what the person will be like until after it is born. U can never tell if it is a hitler incarnate or a cancer-curing genius or a mother Theresa type person.

and any decision on abortion should be made by the woman alone. None of these policitians, no protesters guilting her into anything. the partner should not blackmail her into doing it as some have been known to do, neither should family members. eg i read an interview with people that had experiences with abortion. One of them was a man that forced his girlfriend to undergo an abortion and had regretted forcing her ever since.

the law here states that they must not be done unless continuing with the pregnancy is a danger to the life of the mother.

I tell my son who's in his 20's that I still haven't made my choice about whether to abort him or not but I'll let him know what I decide.

As for thanking my parents for not aborting me, I don't know. Maybe I would have enjoyed being an aborted fetus.

Abortion is wrong. Everyone has a right to live, even babies. Except for when teenagers have babies. They wouldn't know what to do with it.

I was an accident, and mum could have had an abortion. But she didn't. Just think what would happen if she did...

I am glad I did not have a kid at 16 with my boyfriend at the time....i was not ready to be a mother...we were not compatable as partners (even though we stayed together for 6 years)...It woulda been a really big mess for everyone involved....I can't even visualise what the kid would have been like...me....extremely mousey small and akward introverted teenager...him..250lb 20-something...Our personalities could not have been more divergant.
Nobody even knew we were dating at the time.

My mom had some health problems when she was pregnant with me, but had a good doctor to help her. I am glad to be alive. I had some difficult times as a child, but my life now is great.

well I'm glad I wasn't aborted, despite my life being as crappy as it gets half the time

my ex on the other hand, well she's a pain but not enough of one to fall into the "should have been aborted" category, she isn't ready to be a mother herself, so if she finds out she's pregnant she carries out her own abortions by taking paracetamol to induce miscarriage because she is plain daft and too scared to get it done properly

I do want kids one day, and will leave it up to my partner to decide if she wants to carry on with the pregnancy, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it
