i spend 29-32 hrs a week caring for animals in a kennel.
i really only notice it if it has a particularly bad smell.
honestly, though, i have smelled some dog urine which has surpassed poo. smelly dog urine is HORRIBLE and harder to deal with since i can mop all i want, but some is still in the drain. >_<
at least dog poo is scooped and flushed and is thus neutralized.

I work in a kennel, too. I used to work cleaning up after people. I think people are much nastier than dogs. I know what you mean about dog urine though, it is really overpowering.

I find it disgusting that cat owners allow their cats to roam freely and poop and wee anywhere they want.

Cats just go in the litterbox regardless. Dogs go whereever the hell they please.

I've never had a cat that crapped on the floor. They all always knew to use the litterbox.

well you know you might have a point when you say dog poo isn't that bad.

The last Dog I had ate his own poo, I remember very well, the image sticks. He looked like he was sort of grazing against the floor whilst scraping it up with his teeth.
He liked licking cow poo too.

Other animals are fine eating their own poo and other animal's poo. It would be so much easier for people walking along the dirt tracks (littered with dog poo) if they could just scrape it up with their teeth.

I know certain cultures eat poo, although I'm not sure how, and also I don't think it's dog poo, and anyway, they probably eat dogs in those countries, I dunno, call me ignorant.

I think the main concern would be the dangers of dog poo, and not the smell.(like smoking)

Cat poo does smell worse, but at least I don't walk along the pavement watching out for it.

Something else just sprang to mind: I used to watch my dog poo, evaluating it to see how consistent it was. It was usually runny. He always used to like going out side the school, and he would squat down while my Mum dragged him along the floor as he managed to squeeze some out in a hurry.

Jeez I should really stop with this now.

I cant watch a dog butt hole while he poops.

I'm afraid I'll hear Jesus' voice again.
