My mom's old barbie and my own malibu barbie. I never liked to play school or interactive play with them. for some reason i just thought that was no fun and way too confrontational for a doll. I loved to dress them and cut their hair. Mom's older barbies were so much more fun, though. There was one who came with three different wigs and her head was painted to look like her real hair was pinned up nice and neat. My sister and i used to fight over who got to play with her. I was hooked.. i even went through a platinum phase last year with my hair and it felt like i was a doll. Murder on hair, but soooo fun. Image
Cute hair style :D It looks really good with your eye colour actually :D
I wouldn't look good with that because I have pasty skin, and so it would look 10x worse in that colour :P

Funny that women can collect action figure but a guy collecting dolls is a no no

Funny thing is that Sideshow figures are essentially dolls for boys lol ;)

My dolls :

Poison Ivy Barbie
Catwoman Barbie (not easy to find below 50$.....)
Vanna White red dress porcelain doll w/boa
Monroe Gentlemen p. doll
Monroe Breathless p. doll , sitting on stool

I'm a boy, but I definitely liked Barbie dolls when I was really little (like 3), and I had a couple of my own. I used to play Barbies with my best friend next door (a girl). In a way, it was kind of fun when my little sister was old enough to play Barbies, because she almost always wanted to play with me. I was about 12 by then, but I still enjoyed it.

When it comes to childhood toys, though, my real thing was die-cast cars. I had a huge collection of these, though most of them are long since lost (or sold). The toy cars kind of went with one of my earlier obsessions (cars), and when I became obsessed with roads/highways later, I expanded on that by buying plastic roads for my toy cars.

Personally, I preferred Matchbox, as I thought they had a better selection, though the majority of my collection were Hot Wheels.

and so on...(though I am merging different time periods...Jem dolls were great...they were huge and fully jointed with crazy hair...

woot!
