It's bad news just waiting to happen.

PAPER FTW!! !!

Okay, here I agree with you: Paper should be used for: Voting, 'permanent' archives (intended time: more than 20 years), toilet paper. that's it, IMHO. Not so much because I am an environmentalist but because I hate to touch paper.

Err... I kinda like drawing on paper... please don't force me to stop drawing :(

But other than that I don't really think we need paper, here in Denmark at least, but old habbits die hard.

Strange how that worked out isn't it?

I won't stop you from drawing as long as you don't force me to touch your drawings... I just wish for myself not to be exposed to paper.

Yeah, I work in an office and I heard that "paperless" talk, too. We are actually using more paper than ever. It's like the Dunder-Mifflin slogan, Endless Paper in a Paperless World.

Whenever people talk of killing trees, I counter with keeping people employed. The area where I live in was once known for its paper mills and is now known for unemployment. It's all a matter of perspective. When you watch once-thriving communities start to wither and die, it's pretty sobering. Sometimes a paper mill is all a town has and when it closes there isn't anywhere else to go for work. So I don't feel guilty about using paper, not at all. I believe we can keep a balance between the environment and people. At least paper is renewable. Now those annoying little plastic sacks at the supermarket that only hold one or two items so you end up walking out with four or five of them instead of one big bag . . . they ought to ban those.

I heard the 'paperless' office bit 20 years ago. Not only did they not become paperless, they're actually producing more paper than ever.

As someone who fixes printers for a living...I hope not...;)
