Ha ha, yes that's happened to me. I always get things stuck in my head, often it will be a clip from the simpsons. But recently it's the underwater theme from the original Mario NES game, whenever I'm doing repetitive work. It's a bit happier than the tetris song, you will admit. :)

Did you mean the first Super Mario Bros? Prior to that, there was just a Mario Bros., but I don't think there was any background music in that one.

But I know which one you're talking about.

2-2, also used in secret passageways in levels 5-2, 7-2, and 8-4.

Ever since I heard the rest of the song, the earworm has been complete.

I can't remember the tetris theme luckily as it would lodge itself in my head and not come out, however I do have the freecreditreport song stuck in my head

The tetris theme is on the Luigi's mansion stage to smash bros. brawl. It's quite amusing.

How is the Tetris theme song the same song as "Spanish Flea" by Herb Alpert? The two songs sound nothing alike. Plus the Spanish Flea wikipedia page mentions nothing of it's use in Tetris. I don't think that's the song.

You're replying to someone who hasn't made a post on this site for a year and a half. Or something like that.
Anyways, you took what he said way too literally; he was basically implying that "Spanish Flea" is annoying as hell (which it is) and it'll get stuck in your head and you'll forget about the Tetris one.
