I consider myself lucky, both of my parents were very loving and were together for over 45 years, sure my family was dysfunctional, my dad was an alcoholic and my mom was an enabler, but they were products of their generation. Most of the conflict in my family was with my sisters and myself, and usually involved my dad when he had to much to drink, my poor mom always had to put up with a house full of idiots during the holidays, and looking back I wish a could have make it better but never did

My mom is one of the nicest, kindest, and most generous people I know. :D

Your mother was sick. Anyone who abuses animals will do the same to people.

My mother is great. She was the one who instilled in me a love of animals. I was quite fortunate in that regard.

Those are some very good reasons to hate your mother. I don't blame you. However I get along with my parents most of the time.

My mother is likely to be the only important woman in my life, since I'm apparently about as likely to have a proper adult relationship as I am to walk to the Moon.

What's that, you say? "Oedipus complex"?

Surely not... ;)

Why is that?

You're good looking and funny. If I wasn't already happily married and a few years younger ....

Mine grates on my nerves, once in a while. Once such example is asking me what I'm still doing up, at 1:30 in the morning, when I'm at her house, when I've already been sleeping for 4 hours, but I've happened to be lying in bed, for fifteen minutes, and I can't get back to sleep. Things are fine, the most of the time. Could that be a lack of 'theory of mind', in her case?

Don't I have the right to be up, doing something until I'm tired, again if I can't sleep?

I love my mum and dad.

They can be a bit over-protective, but I love them.

First and foremost, she got pregnent by 3 different guys but spead apart by about once every 9 years. she ended up with an angry jewish husband which died of liver complications. When I was young she would insist there was always something wrong with me i.e.: she thought there was stuff wrong with me because i was always interested in cleaning. but it was cause she doesnt clean. She sent me to a social person in school. and she called the police on me for telling her how i feel she has made mistakes. she fuels on making a normal discusion into a problem. i was only stating a fact. she does not contibute so my brothers allowance. she didnt when i was a kid. when i turned 19 i had to learn all of the steps to enroll in college totally by myself with no help with paperwork because she doesnt seem to know what to write or is totally uninterested in doing those things. she sits home all day does not shower. does not clean. kurses and yells when she calls for someone instead of walking over to them. she is a very unreasonable person. she makes my normal day-to-day character and integrity fall apart. i feel like she had always put me in very bad situations that i should of never been in and i feel like she is a child on the inside. i believe i will always hate her. fyi i feel really bad for my brother. and fyi i'm gay.

I dont hate my mother to any extreme degree, but I do find her attempts at inane conversation irritating.
There are other aspects of her personality and our interactions that cause some dislike between us, but I wont mention those because I find it boreing.

i don't hate my mother, i just have no sympati for her. Hating is just waisting valuable energi on people who don't deserve it and it hurts you more than them in the end.
