My dad wore these things for years, and my brother and I used to taunt him mercilessly for wearing them in public. Now I go to the mall and all the trendy Asian chicks are wearing them, what sort of madness is this? Perhaps I should encourage my father to wear his in public more often, to discredit the look. Nothing kills a fashion faster than your parents wearing it.

I don't care for uggs either, but crocs - now those are unfathomably stupid looking! How did anyone ever decide that those were attractive? I can see how they're all right as kids' shoes . . . and maybe for adults to wear during certain activities like wading or sailing . . . but did anyone ever look sexy in crocs? No.

I like Chuck Taylors, Vans, Saucony's, cowboy boots, and combat boots. Same as always. That's about the extent of my shoe wardrobe.

I saw a guy yesterday wearing PINK crocs.

Any MALE that wears PINK SHOES of any type -- dude has got some brass ones to be confident wearing pink shoes. I had to step back from my croc-hating to fully appreciate that, let me tell ya.

Kankles are when your calf doesn't taper down to your ankle... it stays the same size, so you have VERY thick ankles.
That's what girls look like when wearing UGGs that vaguely match their skin tone with their pants tucked in. Not even kidding.

I like vans or "skater shoes". They're pretty comfortable. The real vans do tend to last a while.

Of course, I get wallyworld knock-offs cause they're more affordable, but they don't last as long as Vans.

I also like flip-flops cause you can slip them off almost anywhere, and they don't suffocate my feet like tennis shoes.
