last night, I asked the pharmacist if to combat a foot fungal infection, I could safely soak my feet in a bleach solution. She said she's heard of it and she recommends that if I do it, to dilute it because bleach can actually dissolve skin. She mentioned that a lot of people do that to soak into their nails to get rid of the fungus that turns nails yellow or brown and brittle and all ugly.

I tried it when I got home. A tad too much bleach because my feet started to sting a little.

Digger1, I have heard of that also.

Don't know if anime can be used for that.

So's this good for the nails? I've no problems except for my stupid big toes. "Brittle," "yellow," lol, try indiscribably disgusting...

yes. the water and bleach will permeate the nail like water does to a sponge and kill the fungus.

instead of using bleach, try warm water with ten to fifteen drops of tea tree oil. it does the same job (kills bacteria, fungus, and viruses), but there is no risk of dissolving your skin. plus it doesn't smell so bad. my partner has been doing this once a week for a couple of years now and hasn't had an return of his athlete's foot since he started. :)
