We are heading back to the hospital within the next hour for another emergency surgery. This surgery will be explorative to find and fix the problems. I will be admitted to the hospital for an unknown amount of time. I will keep you all posted as soon as I am able to use the computer. This will not be a simple wound re-closure surgery, this will be a much larger surgery to possibly replace a failed catheter.

i am doing ok and in the hospital. pleaase continue to keep alive, its still really uncertain right now. second surgery is done. fluid still there , this time its antibiotic fluid

I wonder if these doctors realize the risk of repeatedly reopening shunts. Nowadays hospitals try to rush you out before you are healed due to patient volume.

Medical care nowadays is too much revolving door admissions due to assembly line procedures and band aid solutions for health care crises. :evil:

The cure is worse than the disease. :evil: :cry:
