why does everyone hates tomatos? it tastes so good!

I LOVE TOMATOES I could eat them all day but they have to be fresh ^_^ I especially love the ones that are quite acidic and sweet or the little yellow pear shaped ones they are so sweet I like to eat them like candy ^_^

Most grocery-store tomatoes are bland, uninteresting, and even sometimes a bit sour.
Home-grown tomatoes have a sweet, complex flavor that you actually want to taste by itself, and not mixed into a salad or sauce.
If you've never grown your own tomatoes, try it! It's seriously easy!

I especially like them mashed up and squirted on fried potatoes

I'm allergic to raw tomatoes. I even get a slight reaction when I eat things like tomato sauce and ketchup. It's pretty unfortunate.

I like them in any kind of state.

Right, the fresh ones are the best, a co-worker sometimes gives me a few in summer.
