As i Stand by your flame,
I get burned, by the pain.
I'm feeling low down,
I'm Blue.
As i sit by the fire,
of your warmth and desire....

Your supposed to answer then, start a new one.

Stones... I think I know your favorite band, or one of them!

I've Got the Blues.

how about:

...head's all empty and I don't care.
Saw my baby down by the river,
knew she’d have to come up soon for air.

Sweet blossom come on, under the willow,
we can have high times if you’ll abide
We can discover the wonders of nature,
rolling in the rushes down by the riverside.

She’s got everything delightful, she’s got everything I need,
Takes the wheel when I’m seeing double, pays my ticket when I speed

She comes skimming through rays of violet,
she can wade in a drop of dew,
She don’t come and I don’t follow,
waits backstage while I sing to you.

Well, she can dance a cajun rhythm,
jump like a willys in four wheel drive.
She’s a summer love for spring, fall and winter
she can make happy any man alive....

Now that was fun typing that... *goes to find the CD.

Great Grateful Dead song!! ! Thanks for posting that one! Sugar Magnolia?

Well, I dreamed I saw the knights in armor coming
Sayin' something about a queen
There were peasants singin' and drummers drumming
And the archer split the tree
There was a fanfare blowin' to the sun
That floated on the breeze
Look at mother nature on the run in the nineteen seventies
Look at mother nature on the run in the nineteen seventies

Showing my age again....

Neil Young, After the Gold Rush, I think. Definately Neil Young. Saw CSNY a few years back. Still rockin'!

GD I can do all day.

Must be getting early, clocks are running late
Paint my love a morning sky, it’s all cold
Dawn is breaking everywhere, light a candle, curse the glare
Draw the curtains, I don’t care, but it’s all right
I will get by, I will get by, I will get by, I will survive.

I see you’ve got your list out, say your piece and kiss off.
Guess I get the gist of it, but it’s all right
Oh well anyway, sorry that you feel that way
...

It’s a lesson to me, the ablers and the beggars and the thieves
The ABC’s we all think of, try to win a little love.

I know the rent is in arrears, the dog has not been fed in years
It’s even worse than it appears, but it’s all right

Cow is giving kerosene, kid can’t read at seventeen
The words he knows are all obscene, but it’s all right
I will get by, I will get by, I will get by, I will survive....

GD, Touch of Grey. Saw them do that live in the last arena show I went to before I realized that I can't do large shows cuz I get panic attacks.

And yes that was Neil Young, but you maybe were confused because Jefferson Airplane did a cover of it. (IMO better)

Hint: 90's: (and an aspie song i think)

I say my hell is the closet I’m stuck inside
Can’t see the light
And my heaven is a nice house in the sky
Got central heating and I’m alright
Yeah, yeah, yeah...can’t see the light
Keep it locked up inside don’t talk about it
Talk about the weather
Can’t see the light
Open up my head and let me out, little baby
Here we have been standing for a long, long time
Treading trodden trails for a long, long time
I say my hell is the closet I’m stuck inside
Can’t see the light
and my heaven is a nice house in the sky
Got central heating and I’m alright
Here we have been standing for a long, long time
Treading trodden trails for a long, long time
I find sometimes it’s easy to be myself
Sometimes I find it’s better to be somebody else
I see you young and soft oh little baby
Little feet, little hands, little baby
One year of cryin’and the words creep up inside
Creep into your mind

Dave Matthews Band-So Much To Say

You saw me standing by the wall, corner of a main street
And the lights are flashing on your window sill
All alone ain't much fun so you're looking for the thrill
And you know just what it takes and where to go.

Mmm Duran Duran. Don't know the song, and I asked one person.

Here's an easy one, by an artist previously mentioned but not used.

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all

Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
And if you are chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall,
Tell them a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call

Jefferson Starship/Aeroplane

Its an acid song

here goes i am trying to remember it;

Janey said, when she was just five years old,
there was nothing happening at all.
Everytime she turns on a radio,
there was nothing going down at all,
not at all.
Then one fine morning i turned on a New York Station
You know she couldn't believe, what she heard at all.
Sha started shaking to that fine, fine, music.
You know her life...

Rock N Roll - Jane's Addiction?

Hint: Son of a famous rocker (not Wallflowers)

if you ever think too much
is not enough to get you off
if you ever get too close
to the edge then don't look off
'cause you never know when
you might fall down...

Queue by Sean Lennon and the Duran Duran song was Save A Prayer.

I've been searching for the daughter of the devil himself
I've been searching for an angel in white
I've been waiting for a woman who's a little of both
And I can feel her but she's nowhere in sight

Yes! Finally one I know: Eagles, One of These Nights

Is this the real life, is this just fantasy
Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality
Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low
Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me

Hint: Possibly a song by my favorite band, and it's been stuck in my head all day.

We’re flying high
We’re watching the world pass us by
Never want to come down
Never want to put my feet back down
On the ground

Um, I don't know what you're talking about, I did actually figure out Aylissa's song, you internet oddball you  you just skipped my song because you didn't know who it was

Sarcastic_Name, I think your song was Never Let Me Down by Depeche Mode

The next lyrics:

And we'll bask in the shadow
Of Yesterday's triumph
Sail on the steel breeze
Come on you butcher, you winner and loser, you miner of truth and delusion
And shine!

That must be the lyrics to Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd! Am I right? Anyway, here's my go at the game. I wonder how many months it will take to figure out the song that goes to the lyrics below?

It's no use, he sees her, he starts to shake and cough
Just like the old man in that book by Nabokov
