A flukey flu topic

Centres of concentrated populations and crowded areas should be avoided. Always wash your hands, wear a mask and use hand sanitizer in densely populated areas (I would do this in an airport) where confirmed cases were reported. 8O

i don't understand the big concern.

The flu, at least here, is a different strain.

Yeah. I'm about as far away from Mexico as anyone can get but I'm still worried as NZ is one step away from being on 'Red Alert'. *Gasp* 8O
I think this whole thing is a great concern, you can never predict the course of a virus & be 100% sure that what you predict will indeed happen. Still, it's like that with anything but with this new strain of the virus I actually went out today & started collecting supplies incase we eventually get quarantined.
Maybe I worry too much but I'm not going to pretend this isn't happening.

there was a recent vaccination campaign for kids and the elder/eldest, that's why it hasn't affected them.

Yeah. . . I tried to get that vaccine months ago, but kids and elders were priority. That's the reason why people from 20 to 50 years old are the most vulnerable.

Maybe I got influenza in a minor level, and treated early. I'm ok now.

My relatives are ok, they were sick but didn't have influenza after all.

I am not going to let the news scare me.

People here are buying food, items and supplies like there's no tomorrow, just in case stores would be closed next day. They are in panic because of the news. Fools

I purchased a PlayStation 3 from an internet shop, and it's supposed my package will arrive today. But before the package arrived to my city, it was on San Luis Potosí just for a moment. Now my mom is crazy because, according to the news, in SLP are a lot of infected people. . . I don't know what she will do now :?
