It only has a few shops, pubs, and churches, and that's about it.

My husband grew up in Chester, and I have visited there, 13 years ago. It's a lovely city; one of my favorite places I've been to, actually. (I've lived in various places in the U.S., but never in the U.K.)

I'm in Alameda, California. It's a short walk to a place where I can get a good view of San Francisco across the water.
