hahaha bamseeee!

i loved him so much as a kid.

isnt ironical tho?
rune andreassons STYLE was the socialism and the realism.
socialism in the lessons of the stories, and realism in the AGING of the characters, and their SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS - because they actually had children, not nephews. they f****d.

after he died they all went into perpetual lack of aging, which is totally lame, backstabbery and opposes his whole idea +
they keep selling it, for CA$H. which opposes his socialist ideas.

I gotta admit. When I hugged Bamse in Kolmården, it felt kinda good.

Today I was walking up to the supermarket, when all of a sudden a furry in ST. BERNARD (the dog) costume came walking from around the corner. The head part was grinning like crazy with big eyes...

I nearly got a heart attack!

I so wasn't expecting that. Stupid stupid person. And of all the thing they could dress up as... a st. bernard?

Bamse looks really familiar for some reason...

Perhaps one of my older cousins or my sister had something bamse related...
like a blanket or pillow case.. as it's mostly something made of fabric that I remember having that image..

Oh welll..It's just really familiar. Especially the jar of jam (is it jam?).

It's Dunder Honung, a special kind of honey that makes Bamse superstrong. 8)

Bamse is not only the strongest bear in the world, he is also the nicest.

He may be the nicest bear, but there's no way I'll ever go to Kolmården just in case I run into him:P
I would probably scream like a little schoolgirl if he tried to hug me.

Is 'Dunder Honing' translated as Thunder Honey?

yes

i wasnt sure about swedish, but i checked :D its easy for us to assume that we use the same words, when often we dont.

in norwegian we say "torden" but have kept the word "dunder" as some sort of generic word for a big boom.
