If sleep weren't required, would you ever sleep?

I would definitely still sleep if sleeping was no longer required.

Yes i would, just for the whacky dreams i have, they have got even stranger now i stopped taking drugs. And it's always nice to switch off from this savage world for a while, sleep is good.

I would never sleep. I would be into one thing or another. I can get involved into something without being interrupted by sleep.

I'd still sleep, but cut back to 4-5 hours per night.

I'd never sleep. It'd be awesome because you could work, exercise, do whatever needs to be done(bills, etc...), and still have plenty of time to screw-off or do whatever you want. :geek: Just think of the hours you could spend online, and not feel like a bum.

I would try to sleep through the moments where a storm might be forecast.

Well I like sleeping in but not sleeping so if some way I could do the first but not the second that would be perfect. I have trouble going to sleep and only get about five hours a night during the week but I do not mind too much as I can do a lot of other things. However, on the weekend I can sleep in the next day which involves lying in my warm bed after I wake up and listening to music - I love this. I can do this when I have not just been sleeping but it is not the same as waking up and then just lying in bed. One day a weekend I have to get up very early for diving (usually 6am but sometimes even 4am) and the other day I usually stay in bed until 4pm to make up for it.

Small holidays away from the stresses of consciousness are essential to me. When things are overwhelming, the nothingness of sleep is pure bliss. It's just a wonderful escape from everything.

Ideally, I'd have an on/off switch. The fact that I find it hard to get to sleep due to an overactive mind and high anxiety really bothers me.

I'd still sleep. Dreams are some of the most precious things to me. Plus, sleep offers and easy temporary escape from life. It clears out all nagging thoughts I have and refreshes my mind. It's a beautiful thing.

I probably would, but at a time like 4am.

Yes, there's nothing like crawling under a snuggly bedspread and just closing your eyes, getting ready to dream great dreams.

If I didn't need to sleep and therefore never got tired, I'd NEVER sleep. There's not enough time for all the fun stuff I want to do when I should be sleeping. Life is too short.
I like sleeping, but I think that's only because I get tired, which I wouldn't.
